To A New Beginning!

Hello Everyone!  I've been adjusting back into living in the United States and I think I am finally at a point where I can get back to posting stories about my study abroad to the United Kingdom and my adventures to come!

The reason for my absence:  I've undergone a lot of changes.  While I was there I felt a lot of pressure from myself to try to do everything I could to live in the moment and cherish every opportunity I was given and yet try to balance my relationships back home with my family, friends, and boyfriend while not losing myself in the process.  It got to a point where I couldn't get myself to sit down and write these blog posts even though I knew people back home enjoyed reading about what I was getting up to and I enjoyed telling everyone.  I even have a few posts I haven't published and a few which are only half complete.  I've even thought about what I'm going to say in them many times when I am out and about.  Yet as you can see, I haven't been able to press publish on any of them.

I set about on my study abroad to find myself - cheesy I know.  For the last four years I have become very drawn into myself.  I haven't been able to feel like I am at my full potential.  I kept feeling overwhelmed and lost.  I believe that part of it is because I was studying a subject that didn't give me very much fulfillment in a town which I couldn't stand.  I transferred to a different University to study hospitality management with an emphasis in event and convention planning and my attitude started improving a lot - but there was still something missing.

While alone on my study abroad I feel like I did find a part of me.  I re-realized my love for travel and I got some priorities straightened out.  I've even starting to make list of goals to accomplish years down the road - something I have never did more than half a year in advanced.  I've realized and accepted that I have an issue with anxiety and now I am trying to figure out how to cope with different circumstances.

I have decided to get back into my blog to help me share things that I love and places that I won't ever forget with anyone who wants to read about it.  I have also started a YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChmT8Ep6isV9rS5H4cf5-sg) where I am uploading videos about whatever I want to share.

Thank you so much for sticking this out with me.  I am getting back up to speed and if you'd like to keep up with my adventures then grab a cup of tea and lets begin!

P.S. You might have noticed a name change to the blog.  I feel like my new chapter needs a new title ;)
