Good Morning and Happy Monday to you!

Here is just a peek at what I was up to this weekend...

Photo 1. Pumpkin Pie Concrete!

I adore ice cream and in turn I adore Andy's Frozen Custard -- This isn't  my puppy, Andy, custard shop, but they do still give him free cones when he sticks his nose out of the car in the drive through to say hello.  As of Friday, they have their pumpkin pie concrete in season!  This is vanilla concrete with a FULL SLICE of homemade pumpkin pie.  I missed this beauty last year since I was in England over the autumn and I bloody missed this thing!!  It truly is heaven/autumn in a delicious cup.

Photo 2. Puppies, Puppies, and Very Quick Puppies

Every year Purina Pro Plan hosts the Incredible Dog Challenge.  Early this year my boyfriend and myself found the national finals program on the telly and where amazed at the skill (and cuteness!) of all of the pups in the competition.  Then we started to look closer at the surroundings and realized that it was filmed at Purina Farms in Gray Summit which is right outside of St. Louis!!  As you could guess, we put this year's competition on the calendar to watch in person.  Above is a picture of the Jack Russel Hurdle Races which literally lasted seconds per heat.  We also witnessed a new world record for the Fetch It competition.

If you want to watch this captivating event for yourself, it will premier on January 2nd on NBC but the winning races are up on YouTube if you can't wait that long.

Photo 3. Lush Spa Night

My skin over the past two or three weeks has been wretched.  I've been stressed with homework and exams and I needed a little pamper session.  I discovered Lush while in the UK and everyone who works there is super friendly!  Last year they helped me to find a good moisturizer and scrub combo to help combat my winter skin and it was a life saver.  Thus, I turned to Lush for my pamper night.  I dedicated to try the fresh face masks. Oatfix has a ton of bananas and is meant to combat dry skin - exactly what I was needing.  The other, Smurf-like, mask is Don't Look At Me which is to help refresh you skin with help from lemon and rice.

I hope your weekend was equally as wonderful, but for now I am off to get this week started!
