Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday to you

Here is just a peek at what I was up to this weekend...

Photo 1. Tea Festival Adventures!

On Saturday there was a tea festival in Kansas City, MO called Midwest Tea Festival.  I happened to find out about it a month or so ago from stalking a local tea shop (as one does).  In doing so, I ran across an old blog post from a year ago saying that they were going to something called the "Midwest Tea Festival."  Curiosity got the Kat so to say and within an hour and I bought two tickets and had already Facebooked my boyfriends Aunt who lives there asking if we could stay.  The kicker to get me to purchase tickets that quickly (I'm usually a wait three months kind a gal) was that one of my favorite tea companies, Harney & Sons, was coming!!!  Very exciting I know.

If you want to see more about this adventure I made a vlog about it  https://youtu.be/vddSYvTauBQ

Photo 2. In The Garden

Before supper on Saturday we were taken to see the Ewing & Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden.  This pretty garden was a really nice change to the hustle and bustle of normal everyday and I could see it would be a nice lunch spot if you worked close enough.  I will say, I found this door to be my favorite thing.  It was just such pretty of a shape and it fit the stone perfectly and come on, look at that color!  I will say we also saw a tiny bunny in the garden which was almost as cute as this door

Photo 3. Holy Smoothie!

If you are ever in Kansas City, go to Chai Sha.  Just go.  It was absolutely amazing food and they had the best smoothie of my life. OF. MY. LIFE.  It was a mango smoothie but with spices like cinnamon, star anise, and love. We at the Masala Paneer (pictured) and the Achari Chicken - both delicious.

I hope your still reminiscing about your weekend as well, but for now I'm off to finish this week!
