Good Morning and Happy Monday to you

Here is a little peek at what I've been up to this weekend...

Photo 1. Saturday Soccer

There is always something going on related to soccer on the weekends.  This weekend, it included my boyfriend going to the local soccer bar at 6:30 am to watch the Tottenham vs Liverpool game then organizing a match between the two supporters teams to follow.  I didn't wake up for the game (because that is crazy for a Saturday!), but I did go to the game and somehow got wrapped up into timing the match and getting bitten by bugs.

 Photo 2. Two Ships

A few weeks ago, my dad asked if I wanted to go to Hanibal, Missouri.  I am not a fan of Hanibal, but I do like hanging out with my dad, brother, and sister-in-law so I drove up to meet them for the day on Sunday.  The big attraction was the docking of replica ships of the Nina and the Pinta docked on the Mississippi River.  They were much smaller than I would have thought and what I wouldn't have dared to call ocean worthy in 1492.  I now can understand fully why most ships didn't make it across the ocean.

Photo 3. Lunch Time

After driving around downtown Hanibal for a bit (which is small enough that we could have walked but we didn't know where to go), we decided to stop at the Mark Twain Brewing Co for lunch.  As we were walking up to the door, we passed a smoker which smelled amazing!  I'm not one to normally go for BBQ but I ended up ordering it and I think the smoked sausage was delicious.

I hope your weekend was equally as lovely but for now, I'm off to get this week started!
