HAPPY MONDAY!

Here is a little peek at what I was up to this weekend...

PHOTO 1. A DAY AT THE MUSEUM

On Saturday I decided that it was time to get out and see a bit more of St. Louis.  To start it off I went down to the Art Museum to really take a look at what it had to offer.  I had been to the Art Museum last year and only ended up seeing the main floor which you walk into from the front entrance.  I started off on the top floor, moseyed down to the basement, and then went onto the main floor for the last of it.  There is everything from paintings to furniture, quilts to native dress, and fully equipt rooms from historic places in time.

PHOTO 2. PODCASTS & ART HILL

After the Art Museum, I went out and sat on Art Hill.  I had a wonderful afternoon in the sun, watching paddle boats go by in the Grand Basin, kids roll down the enormous hill, and listening to podcasts.  My favorite of the moment is The Lively Show by Jess Lively.

PHOTO 3. OKTOBERFEST

I am not really into alcohol, but I do appreciate good food.  This weekend was Urban Chestnut Brewing Company's Oktoberfest and I knew we were already going down to meet a few friends.  I was quite hungry when we got down to Oktoberfest and I made sure to start off with food before the dinner crowd set in.  We ended up getting a getting a brat with sauerkraut, currywurst, and a giant pretzel all topped with delicious (and quite hot!) mustard.

I hope you had an equally lovely weekend but for now, I'm off to get this week started!
